aBRIDGEd is a simplified version of Bridge that
removes the bidding system. Players work in teams
of two and score points by playing sets of cards.
I have to admit, I don’t have much experience
with Bridge, so I can’t really say how different
the two games are from one another. However, aBRIDGEd
is easy to learn and easy to play, and likely would
provide a quick alternative to the full game or a
simple way to teach Bridge to a novice or younger
player.
The set features 52 cards in four colored sets numbered
2-14, as well as pencils and pads for four players
to keep score. aBRIDGEd is designed for four players
(two teams of two) ages 12 and up and takes about
30-40 minutes per game. The game retails for $14.99
